Ofqual accepts MYP eAssessment

All eAssessment subjects in the Middle Years Programme (MYP) have been accepted by Ofqual and added to the Register of Regulated Qualifications, previously known as accreditation by Ofqual.

Ofqual is a UK government agency responsible for the regulation of qualifications, examinations and assessments in England. Achieving this goal was a key objective for the MYP: Next chapter project – a programme-wide evaluation from 2010-2014.

The IB, as a recognized awarding body, continually demonstrates its commitment to high-quality assessment through its development process, collation of evidence and consultation with UK assessment experts. MYP eAssessments meet the stringent requirements set by Ofqual through its regulations, the General Conditions of Recognition. This international benchmark assures schools, students, parents, universities and government bodies that MYP eAssessments are fair, reliable, accessible, and fit for purpose.
