As the first IB Global Conference of the year, this sold-out event will bring together the largest gathering of IB educators in the Asia-Pacific region, offering an inspiring and transformative experience.

As we navigate a global era of constant change, the IB’s 2025 conference theme, “Our Humanity, Connected,” underscores the importance of staying united in our shared humanity. This connection has a profound impact on students, school communities and the world. Even as technology reshapes education and society, by prioritizing and fostering human qualities such as self-awareness, empathy, and innovation, educators can help students develop the skills and competencies to succeed in an uncertain future.

This theme will serve as a throughline at the heart of the keynote speakers, breakout sessions, and collaborative discussions taking place in Singapore and throughout the IB’s 2025 conference series, including:

  • Andreas Schleicher – Director for Education and Skills at the OECD, known for his leadership in global education policy and the Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA).
  • Darnell Fine – International school principal, curriculum consultant, and award-winning expert in culturally responsive teaching and educational leadership.

Over three days, attendees will discover fresh ideas for IB programmes, engage with thought leaders in education, and explore best practices to prepare students for an evolving world. The Singapore conference will set the stage for continued conversations on the future of education, ensuring that IB educators remain at the forefront of shaping a more connected and inclusive world.
