The 2025 conference theme, “Our Humanity, Connected,” reflects the continual need to remain in touch with our humanity, especially as technology increasingly permeates our lives. The IB community will celebrate this theme with workshops and keynote presentations during global conferences throughout 2025.

Countless conversations, workshops, and keynote speeches took place under the 2024 conference theme, "Inspiring Learners, Realizing Potential.” In March, following the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation between the IB and Governors of Education in the Republic of Korea, the Asia Pacific IB community and leaders gathered in Daegu. More than 1,300 attendees from 38 countries discussed pressing topics related to Artificial Intelligence and teacher well-being.

In July, the broader American community met in Washington D.C., where more than 1700 attendees attended keynote speeches about leadership and public school collaboration in the United States. And this October, educators and leaders from Europe, Africa, and the Middle East met in Budapest, Hungary, where a cyberpsychologist delivered one of the keynotes to a diverse group of educators from across the region for the year’s final global conference.

The 2025 conference theme, "Our Humanity, Connected,” will guide new and exciting conversations at upcoming events in Singapore, New Orleans, and the Hague.
