In a landmark partnership aimed at improving learner outcomes, the IB has embarked on a collaboration with the Department of School Education in Andhra Pradesh. This unique partnership aims to implement transformative reforms aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, designed to open enhanced educational avenues for young people.
The project will explore the possibility of affiliating schools in Andhra Pradesh with the IB, fortifying the capabilities of educators through intensive training and developing a collaborative certification process at the board level for 10th and 12th-grade students. The cooperation agreement signifies a stride towards the shared goals of making quality education accessible to all in Andhra Pradesh and underscores the IB's unwavering commitment to the learners of India, where the IB has been established since 1976.
IB programmes are closely aligned with the ambitions of The Government of Andhra Pradesh, providing holistic curriculum frameworks utilizing inquiry-based methods, and child-centred learning and teaching. The IB's curriculum is not only highly regarded in India but also commands recognition from esteemed higher education institutions on a global scale.
