The International Baccalaureate (IB) welcomes educators, experts and school leaders at the IB Global Conference in Washington DC from 25-28 July 2024
This year’s IB Global Conference in Washington DC will include nine pre-conference workshops, six forums for new and experienced PYP, MYP, DP and CP coordinators, and over 100 breakout sessions covering educational technology and innovation, inclusive education and well-being, leadership and learning.
The conference theme, “Inspiring learners, realising potential”, sparks discussions about today’s ever-changing challenges facing students and educators alike.
IB Director General Olli-Pekka Heinonen will be present to deliver closing remarks. The conference will also feature engaging keynote speakers in educational leadership, including
- Steve Bollar: Educational thought leader and school culture and motivation expert, Stand Tall Leadership
- Charles Fadel: Founder and Chairman, Center for Curriculum Redesign
- John B. King, Jr.: Chancellor, State University of New York (SUNY) and Former U.S. Secretary of Education
