Artificial Intelligence—AI—is here to stay, presenting opportunities and challenges for educators.

This new webinar will feature Charles Fadel, author of the 2024 book, Education for the Age of AI: Why, What and How should students learn for the age of Artificial Intelligence? Fadel is a global education thought leader, founder and chairman of Center for Curriculum Redesign, among other accomplishments.

In the prologue to Fadel’s work, Director General of the IB Olli-Pekka Heinonen positions the book as a conduit for a simple question with a complex answer: What does it mean to be human in today’s world?

AI has challenged so much in education. How educators understand and implement learning in this quickly evolving technological world remains key to shaping curriculum standards for young learners.

As Olli-Pekka Heinonen writes, “To be able to prioritize what is essential for the future of teaching and learning is more important today than ever.”

These webinars exemplify the IB’s continued commitment to embracing and integrating educational technology best practices. Learn about AI’s impact on what educators teach and how they teach it, with an introduction to AI-based tools at both the teacher and student levels.
