This year’s South by Southwest Education Conference (SXSW EDU) will welcome the International Baccalaureate as a new sponsor for the first time. IB leaders will attend the three-day conference to raise awareness about our programmes and engage with the broader education community.
SXSW EDU invites global education leaders to exchange and explore new ideas while networking with other professionals seeking innovative solutions to today’s education problems. Members of the IB will attend the event taking place 3-6 March in Austin, Texas.
SXSW EDU began in 2011 as a local event, building off the momentum of the brand's original SXSW conference that began in 1987 and has since become a globally recognized event. The branded events have attracted big-name speakers from various industries and careers including U.S. President Barack Obama, actress Cynthia Erivo, and author Marie Kondo.
