The MYP eAssessment has been officially recognized by the UAE Ministry of Education as an alternative requirement to equalize the IB Career-related Programme (CP) to the Ministry’s General High School Certificate.
Starting with the May 2023 exam session, CP students will be able to choose five MYP eAssessment courses over other qualifications, including MYP mathematics, one MYP sciences subject and MYP English acquisition or MYP English language and literature.

Sharing many of the well-regarded DP benefits, the CP comprises a three-part framework: studying at least two DP courses alongside the distinctive CP core, consisting of four components and a career-related study. The CP helps students prepare for effective participation in life, fostering attitudes and habits of mind that allow them to become lifelong learners and get involved in learning that develops their capacity to make a positive difference. CP students engage in a rigorous study programme that genuinely interests them while gaining transferable lifelong skills.
