The International Baccalaureate and Nazaret Global Education are teaming up to introduce the Online Diploma Programme (DP). This pilot offers classes in both English and Spanish to high school students across Nazaret’s global school network in Brazil, Cameroon, Colombia, Ecuador, Indonesia, Paraguay, Pacific, Spain and Venezuela. Students enrolled in the pilot programme will have the opportunity to obtain the IB Diploma through an innovative online high school programme.
The IB and Nazaret Global Education will collaborate on the delivery of the Online Diploma Programme (DP) pilot to extend access to high-quality international education to a wider demographic of students worldwide. By introducing the Online DP pilot through its online learning platform, OnWorld, Nazaret Global Education is set to expand its bilingual educational ecosystem on a global scale. This collaboration seeks to leverage international education opportunities, fostering student achievement and preparing them to lead positive change in the world.
The Online Diploma Programme (DP) empowers students to delve into their unique talents and interests, from academics to arts, in an environment that blends global accessibility with the benefits of in-person instruction. This innovative learning approach aims to support each student’s educational journey that aligns with their goals and aspirations for their future.
Through these pilots, the IB aims to explore new pathways to better understand the needs of students who may not be able to attend traditional brick-and-mortar schools. Furthermore, the pilot works alongside and informs the IB strategy to innovate collaboratively with our global community, empower IB students to take ownership of their learning, and develop future-ready skills to make a difference and thrive in a fast-changing world.
