In November 2015, we launched the Academic Honesty Short film and Poster Competition to raise awareness and promote the importance of academic honesty by inviting students from the Middle Years, Career-related and Diploma Programmes to produce films and posters that would spread this message among all IB students.

We were overwhelmed by the response and engagement from students all over the world on this topic. We were delighted to receive a total of 128 entries from 55 schools distributed in 27 countries. Entries were shortlisted and a panel of judges has now selected the winners.

We are delighted to announce the winners in the different categories:

  • DP Film category: U Jun Melissa Lam, Overseas Family School (Singapore)
  • DP Poster category: Esha Shah & Enasha Shah, Fort Myers high School (United States of America)
  • MYP Film category: Leena Alssaka, Hind Melovah, Madina Islam Khaleque and Hanna Jean Delvarr, The King Fahad Academy (United Kingdom)
  • MYP Poster category: Sebastian Cruz Espinoza de los Monteros, Colegio Williams de Cuernavaca (Mexico)

The work submitted by the winners were of excellent technical quality and best represented a great deal of creativity and reflection around Academic Honesty.

Congratulations to all our winners on this great achievement and a huge thank you to all the students who took time to participate in this competition. We loved seeing your creations and choosing the winners for each category was not an easy task.

Exclusive online interviews with the winners and a look at the winning entries will be published early in 2017.
