Blended workshops combine the best of face-to-face and remote learning. This delivery option is currently only available to schools in the Americas region.
Blended workshops consist of 12 hours of instruction across two consecutive days, with an additional independent learning assignment. This assignment must be completed and submitted within seven days of the conclusion of the face-to-face component of the workshop.
This new way to participate in workshops allows schools seeking authorization or preparing for evaluation to meet the IB’s professional development requirements. To request a blended workshop, a minimum of seven participants are required per workshop.
