New IB Micro-credentials and Microlearning Modules empower teachers and schools with convenient, affordable and flexible continuing professional development opportunities.
IB Exchange is home to a variety of professional development opportunities, now including IB Micro-credentials and Microlearning Modules.
- IB Micro-credentials are a cost-effective way to deliver professional development that challenges teachers to put their capabilities into practice, develop practical resources, and earn formal recognition for their professional learning. Micro-credentials are a simple, flexible way for you to encourage, support and celebrate your teachers’ practice — all while strengthening the IB implementation in your school.
- Microlearning Modules are convenient learning experiences that are designed to take approximately 15 minutes, helping teachers build their capabilities wherever and whenever suits them best. With topics ranging from conceptual understanding to student wellbeing, teachers are free to extend their skills, practice and career beyond workshops or events. Microlearning modules are related to but not required to earn IB Micro-credentials.
