How to update your school details

Update your IB World School details to showcase your school on our website.

All authorized IB World Schools (IBWS) are promoted on our website with their own dedicated page. The information about each school is maintained automatically from our central database. Any IBWS can update their school details at any time through My School.

Through My School, Heads of Schools and coordinators can update the following:

  • Institution name, address and location
  • Contact information
  • Staff details
  • Programme information and more.

How to update school details on My School

To update your school details, please complete the following steps.

Step 1

To update your school details, you must first log into your MyIB account with your username and password. Once signed in, can then select the My School button.

Step 2

Once you are in My School, click on School Profile at the top navigation and go to School Account Information.

Step 3

Access your school details by clicking on each section listed on the left-hand navigation.

Step 4

Save your updates at the bottom of the page.

Step 5

Once your details have been saved, a green notice at the top of the page should say, 'The school information was saved successfully'.

Note: you will not receive further confirmation of these changes.

 

 

Once you have updated your school details, it can take up to 72 hours before these changes appear on this website.

 

If you are not able to see immediate changes, please check your dedicated school page via Find an IB World School after 3 days of updating your information.

If your school details have not been updated after this timeframe, or you are having problems logging into your account, please contact us via our Ask a question page.
