The IB Global University Admissions Symposium 2027 will be accessible to attendees worldwide through Zoom. From 23–25 February 2027, this event will feature three days of engaging, content-rich sessions.
This will be a truly global experience accessible to all attendees. Each day of the symposium will begin in a different time zone.
Every day will include one keynote and three breakout blocks. Participants can choose from three sessions during each breakout block.
Session recordings will be available shortly after each session ends.

Keynote
Keynote speakers deliver high-level presentations about the future of education. These talks set the tone of the symposium, spark thinking and provide fresh perspectives.
Breakout sessions
Breakout sessions focus on professional development topics, including IB learners, the IB curriculum and supporting students through the university admissions process. Sessions will be offered in English, French and Spanish, with automated captions.
Topics will be tailored to university and career counsellors, including:
- Counsellor professional growth and resources
- The university admissions landscapes in various regions
- Supporting students with IB subject selection and university applications
- Student well-being
