The International Baccalaureate® educator network (IBEN) in Asia Pacific is a community of IB practitioners fulfilling the roles of workshop leaders, field representatives, school visitors, consultants and readers.
Through the contributions of IBEN, the IB is able to provide support and training to promote high-quality experiences in classrooms and schools.
IBEN Opportunities in Asia-Pacific
If you’d like to join the IB Educator Network, follow these four easy steps below and you’ll be on your way to supporting IB activities in your region and even across the globe.
Step 1: Click here to register your personal account for My IB, which will give you access to IBEN Central (the database management system of IBEN). You will receive an email to complete your registration.
Step 2: Next, apply for an IBEN Role by accessing the IBEN Central application. To access IBEN Central click the "My IB" link at the top of our web pages. Note: Your application will only be considered once you have registered for a training.
Step 3: Finally, apply for IBEN Training using IBEN Central.
Step 4: Upon successful completion of your IBEN training, you will become an IB Educator and part of a network of educators committed to the IB mission.
Available IBEN training events are displayed and open for registration via IBEN Central. When you select and register for a specific event, your application will be submitted for review. Please check back on IBEN Central for updates to your application status.
Applicants should be experienced IB practitioners with a passion for learning. In Asia-Pacific, it is recommended that applicants for the role of workshop leader submit video file evidence of their skills in delivering adult learning using creative, constructivist methodologies.
