Samih Talaat is a graduate of Ecole Oasis Internationale, Cairo Egypt. He continued his studies at McGill University in Canada and the University of London in the United Kingdom. He has been working with Al Tamimi & Company Law Firm since 2017.

Why did you decide to pursue the Diploma Programme?
When I was searching for a secondary education system, I wanted a system that not only educated students with a solid academic foundation, but that also placed special importance on extracurricular activities. Through the IB programmes, I was able to obtain an excellent and high-quality education while also participating in a number of extracurricular activities.
What advice do you have for current IB students?
Manage your time efficiently, don’t hesitate to be creative, take risks and never be satisfied with doing just the minimum. The IB programmes help and encourage you to be exceptional. So take advantage!
How did the IB broaden your horizons and impact your career and your beliefs?
The IB had a significant impact on my personality. Thanks to the IB, I learned to be open-minded and have a global perspective of the world while also remaining rooted in my own culture. The IB helped me to have confidence in myself and to face the world without any problems.
