ISU offers all three IB programmes to its 200 plus students, from early years (age three) through to the Diploma Programme. We are one of only about 150 schools worldwide that offer all three programmes.
Children follow programmes built on the promotion of intercultural awareness and an integrated approach towards teaching and learning. Most learning builds on what Mongolia has to offer. With a strong resource base of field trips, guest speakers from many NGOs, aid organizations and other government institutions, our students have first-hand experience of the local and international communities.
At ISU we believe strongly in taking action. Our students help out weekly at the Lotus Centre orphanage, provide assistance to a kindergarten in the far western province of Bayan-Ulgii, and engage in Habitat for Humanity, recycling programmes and annual riverbank clean-up events.
