IB alumni set to gather in Geneva to mark 50th anniversary

Graduates from IB World Schools around the globe are heading to Geneva on 26 October to mark the IB's 50th anniversary and discuss the future of education.

The gathering takes place in the city where the IB was founded in 1968 as a response to the need for an education that crossed borders and helped students become lifelong learners.

Alumni from IB World Schools will join regional IB alumni and leadership within the International Baccalaureate to both celebrate our past and discuss how an IB education will meet the needs of future generations.

This year has been a year of reflection and celebration for the IB, with many esteemed graduates telling their IB stories and powerful examples of the value of an IB education being written by IB alumni internationally.
