Showcase your school

Our students and schools are at the heart of everything we do at the International Baccalaureate (IB). We want to display their work, creativity and talent by showcasing students’ or schools’ projects and performances at the IB Virtual Conference.

Share your school’s or students’ projects

At the IB, we believe young people can positively change the world. We witness their commitment to make a meaningful impact every day, and our goal is to support their ideas and actions. Using a competitive application review process, the IB will select a limited number of projects with a strong focus on social impact, distance learning and best practices to showcase.

How to apply

All applications must be submitted by an IB World School. Each school can submit up to two applications. Each school must have a registered participant at the conference to act as the project presenter.

Click here to read and submit your application by Friday 17 September 2021, 11.59pm (EDT). If your school’s project application is accepted, it will be displayed in the virtual platform during the conference. Everyone who will appear in the project recording must complete the applicable Copyright licence request and Image/Voice Consent Form from the IB. The registered school representative will act as the project presenter and their role will be to upload all the project details to the platform prior to the opening of the conference and to answer attendee questions throughout the conference.

Share your students’ performances

We love to set the stage for some of our sessions by starting off with a student performance. The IB is looking for a variety of student performances—for example instrumental, a choir, a band, individual or group dance, spoken poetry, etc. It can be a recording of students performing remotely, much like a Zoom or video call, or a recorded performance that took place at the school. Selected performances will be broadcast just before some of our sessions. Everyone who will appear in the performance recording must complete the applicable Copyright licence request and Image/Voice Consent Form from the IB.
