Call for research poster presentations (Closed)

Last updated:

Every year, engaged IB educators and others conduct fascinating research on our programmes, students, and schools. Whether large or small, these studies produce valuable knowledge worth sharing.

The IB Research team is hosting a research poster session at the IB Global Conference in Vienna. Whether you’re a university professor, an administrator pursuing a graduate degree, or a teacher conducting action research in the classroom, we want to hear from you. The presentation of research through posters is one of many ways in which the conference can enrich your professional experience.

How can I participate?

All interested poster presenters must submit an abstract. The abstract should describe original research on IB programme(s) and IB World Schools and should be 150 words or less. Please do not use tables, charts, or graphs in your abstract submission. You can send your abstract via email below.

The deadline for abstract submission is 31 August 2018. Applicants will receive a decision notification on or before 10 September 2018.

For more information on the research poster session, look at our guidelines.

Please note that only registered conference participants can submit an abstract.

Here are some quotes from former poster presenters:

“Thank you for providing me the opportunity to present my poster. It was a rewarding experience, as it gave my research a global audience, along with giving me new food for thought for taking my research further.”

“I was very excited to meet and discuss with the many schools and networking regarding my research. I look forward to continuing to share my findings and to future opportunities presenting and sharing with the IB Global Community.”
