Subject specific seminar: Personal and Professional Skills

The IBO values participants’ health and safety. Complying with local/national/state/venue COVID-19 guidelines ensures that these priorities are at the forefront of our events. Participants are also asked to support these measures by staying home when they are sick and reviewing and following relevant COVID-19 guidelines while participating in an IB event.

Your safety is our top priority and concern. The IB will continuously monitor the COVID–19 situation and provide the necessary updates to registered participants. The event will be organized in accordance with the school’s/ local authorities’ event management recommendations and guidelines.

Following the publication of new guides for 2025, several SSS are organized for DP and CP subjects. Read curriculum updates and subject briefs here.

The SSS is a professional development event offering comprehensive information and materials for experienced educators in those subject areas to fully familiarize themselves with new changes in the guide. It also offers a unique opportunity for educators to engage with staff and/or members of the curriculum review team.

Note: For educators new to the IB or to the DP/ CP, we will offer Category 1 workshops from 19 April 2025 onwards. These Category 1 workshops will also focus on the new guide.
