Subject-specific seminars (SSS)

Following the publication of new guides for 2024, several SSS are organized for DP subjects. Read curriculum updates and subject briefs here.

The SSS is a professional development event offering comprehensive information and materials for experienced educators in those subject areas to fully familiarize themselves with new changes in the guide. It also offers a unique opportunity for educators to engage with staff and/or members of the curriculum review team.

Note: For educators new to the IB or to the DP, we will offer Category 1 workshops from 15 April 2024 onwards. These Category 1 workshops will also focus on the new guide.

Category 2 workshops will also be available and focus on the new guide.

  • Speakers details

    The timings of these workshops are scheduled for time zone (SGT) GMT +8:00. While scheduled, primarily, as a workshop for teachers based in the Asia-Pacific region, teachers globally are invited to participate.

    Sessions will take place at the following times: 

    Day 1: Friday, 12 April 2024, 08:30 a.m. - 04:00 p.m. 
    Day 2: Saturday, 13 April 2024, 09:00 a.m. - 04:00 p.m.
    Day 3: Sunday, 14 April 2024, 09:00 a.m. - 02:30 p.m.
