Director de colegio - POP
IB online professional development is pleased to offer the following workshops.
Event guides and policies
Please note that whilst you do not have to be online at a specific time, all participants move from one module to the next at the same time and are required to provide peer-to-peer feedback in active online discussions, therefore it is important that participants are available to be online for at least 4 hours per week for all 4 weeks to ensure eligibility for a certificate.
If a participant will not have internet access for an entire week or more during the workshop, we would advise they register for an alternative date.
For all of your online workshops queries, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Workshops will be conducted in the language specified. Participants’ command of the teaching language must be such as to allow for full and unaided participation.
All of our online workshops are of 4 week duration and require a minimum 16 hours of workshop time. The format of the workshops is as follows:
- Participants will be expected to dedicate four hours per module to complete the workshop requirements and earn a certificate.
- Participants will need to be actively engaged in the workshop to meet the completion requirements.
- Workshops are not self-paced, and will follow the general format of:
o WEEK 1: Module 1
o WEEK 2: Module 2
o WEEK 3: Module 3
o WEEK 4: Module 4 and Conclusion
After the official closing deadline (3 weeks before the start date), please contact IB support to request late registration. Late registration requests will only be considered within 5 days from closing deadline and are not guaranteed acceptance. The decision as to whether a late registration request is accepted will be taken by the Online PD team on a case by case basis. This depends on the number of existing registrations and facilitator availability.
Late registrations are subject to a surcharge of USD 70.
