Trinity Lutheran College is seeking a Christian educator with the vision, commitment and skills for effective leadership and management of the Primary School in a manner which upholds and supports its ethos.
The Deputy Head of Primary School is responsible to the Head of College and reports to the Head of Primary School in the routine conduct of duties. The Deputy Head of Primary will represent the Head of Primary as necessary and assists the Head in curriculum and staff professional development, pastoral care and general school management. The position incorporates the role of PYP Coordinator for Prep to Year 5. An advantage exists for those who can demonstrate experience with and commitment to the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program (IB PYP), and who possess the professional skills, knowledge and attributes required for leadership in the pedagogical, curriculum and inquiry-based approach of the PYP.
