Description
We are looking for a
Director / Head of School (100%)
To build up and lead an English speaking private and future IB World School in Essen, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany (www.is-ruhr.de).
Requirements
- An exceptional role-model with commitment, creativity and problem solving skills, to build up and lead a private school.
- Strong leadership personality, with an educational background and the ability to implement the school’s vision and mission.
- Leadership experience in an International School – and especially in small school structures - together with a knowledge and understanding of the IB programme will be expected.
- Empathy with the SBW Haus des Lernens values.
Excellent English and good German, both written and spoken, along with commercial thinking, are a requirement of the post. - A team player with a sense of humour and an educational attitude, whose performance supports and promotes age-based learning.
School starts: End of the summer holiday 2010
Position starts: March 2010 or by arrangement.
