Donors
With help from generous donors like you, the IB has made real progress advancing its mission and vision, to remain the leader in international education. This support has allowed us to make an IB education available to a more diverse and inclusive student and teaching community, by providing grants to students in need, investing in professional development for our educators, and continuing the evaluation and refinement of our programmes.
Your gift to the IB will allow us to help students, teachers and schools through:
Student Grants
Student taking the IB Diploma Programme have been proven to have higher acceptance rates to more selective universities, get better financial aid packages and have higher achievement at university than their counterparts, yet many students are unable to benefit from an IB education for financial reasons. By supporting IB's student grants programme, you will give access to an IB education to those young people across the globe, whose personal circumstances would otherwise prevent them from joining the Diploma Programme.
Capacity building for educators
Our teachers, administrators and educators are vital to the success of the IB and their work is enriched by continuous professional development in best practices and IB methodology. Through our Educator Network, the IB delivers face-to-face and online training to over 60,000 teachers each year. By sponsoring training for IB teachers, you will be instrumental in helping to ensure that more students around the world receive the highest quality instruction and mentoring.

School investment
There is an important transformation that takes place in schools that decide to take up the IB. This process takes time, effort and resources. The impact of this transformation on administrators and teachers ensures that a high-quality international education will be available for future generations. Funds raised for school investment directly support schools in areas where the IB is underrepresented, to enable a wider, more diverse and inclusive student and teacher cohort to benefit from an IB education and, in turn, enrich their own communities.
Research and programme development
We are committed to constantly developing and improving our programmes and services through an ongoing process of curriculum framework and outcome review. Research has been conducted to measure quality and rigour of our programmes, the success of IB graduates at university, where and how to increase access to the IB and many others. By supporting IB research, you will ensure that our programmes remain a rigorous assessment of student skills and pedagogical methodology.
Other opportunities
The IB has a rich history and numerous opportunities for you to make a difference; from language services to ensure that the IB curriculum and resources are offered in multiple languages, to World Student Conferences and Regional Conferences to enable students, educators and administrators an opportunity to learn, reflect and act.
Giving to the IB is an opportunity to make a lasting impact on the future of our youth and our world. Please consider a contribution to the IB, which will help us better meet our goals, to transform schools and provide education for a better world.
The IB accepts online donations via Network for Good* as well as donations of cash, planned gifts, in-kind support, and marketable securities.
