The IB Asia Pacific Annual Conference 2012 represents the largest annual gathering of the Asia Pacific IB community. This is a unique forum that will draw together the ideas and creativity of educators from a diverse range of countries and cultures from our region. There will be opportunities to share examples of good practice as well as explore and unpack inspiration in education.

This is a unique opportunity to engage with our participants and play a critical role in supporting the IB mission to provide“education for a better world”. There will be a great variety in breakout sessions offered during the three days of the conference. Sessions may include presentations of conceptual models, professional applications, scholarly analyses, skill-building programs and case studies.

Breakout Sessions provide an opportunity to present completed research, best practices, evaluation studies, results of a new initiative, or skill development. These presentations are usually scheduled in a room arranged in theater style with a digital projector, if requested. We expect workshops to be well organized with a dynamic, interactive presentation. Sessions are 60 minutes length.

The information presented on the form will be published in the conference program. Please note: We will review all proposals submitted. You may include additional presenters during the proposal submission process however please note only one (1) presenter will be eligible for the conference fee waiver for Presenters. Each presenter and co-presenter must register for the conference.
