To submit a transcript request using a debit or credit card for payment please click on the following link to complete the online request/payment form. Please note that the IB does not accept American Express cards.
To submit a transcript request using a cheque for payment please complete one of the following forms and send to the appropriate IB office as stated on the form:
Before results are released (5th July for a May examination session and 5th January for a November examination session) candidates can request to have their results sent to 6 universities free of charge (of this 6 only 1 can be requested for the USA and 3 for Canada). Before results are released, all requests must be submitted by your IB Diploma programme coordinator at your school. Additional transcript requests can be requested and will cost $15USD/£10 GBP/$17CAD per university request.
Once candidates have received their results they must submit their transcript requests directly to the IB along with payment ($15 USD/£10 GBP/$17CAD).

If you requested to have a transcript sent to a university through your high school, your transcript will be sent out in July for a May examination session or January for a November examination session. You may want to contact your university to ensure that they have received your transcript.

No, the IB does not accept American Express cards, cash or postal orders.

Transcript requests are processed in the order in which they are received. Please allow 10-14 business days for your transcript to be processed. During the peak months of July-September and December-January, transcript requests may take longer to process. Transcripts are sent via regular postal service unless otherwise requested. The IB is not responsible for delays in the postal service or in processing your transcript at the university. Some universities receive transcripts electronically and they will be automatically notified when your results are available.

Yes, however, only unofficial transcripts will be sent to home addresses. These unofficial transcripts are printed in a different manner than official transcripts; they cannot be copied or scanned, and are generally not accepted by universities or institutes.
If you have lost or misplaced your official certification, please submit a replacement documentation form.
The institution should receive your transcript within 10 to 14 business days. If the institution receives electronic transcripts/results, please check with the admissions or registrar's office before calling the IB as electronic transcripts/results are available immediately from a secure website.
Your candidate code is not required to request a transcript. However, it can be found on the left hand corner of your IB certificate or diploma.
Unfortunately, due to security concerns the IB cannot provide students with their personal codes or PINs. Candidates who have lost this information must contact the IB Diploma Programme Coordinator at their high school.
