Heads and principals
As head of an IB World School you play an important role in the governance of the IB. Heads advise the IB on its programmes and services and contribute to an ongoing discussion about the philosophy, objectives and methodologies of international education.

Heads standing association
You belong automatically to the IB’s heads standing association (HSA), which meets every two years in different locations around the world. The last world conference took place in October 2007 in San Francisco. The HSA is ruled by a Constitution.
IB HeadNet
IB HeadNet is a set of password-protected web pages containing information of interest to heads of IB World Schools. For more information, please consult IB HeadNet, or read the frequently asked questions [20 kb, PDF].
IB community theme website
The IB community theme website has been created to enable students, teachers, parents, school communities, IB staff and everyone associated with the IB, to share and collaborate on the IB community theme: sharing our humanity. Find out more at the community theme website.
