Venue Information

The IB Global Conference, Yokohama, Japan 2017 to be held from 29 to 31 March will take place at

The conference venue, PACIFICO Yokohama, provides large space to meet the needs of world-scale conventions. All of its world-class facilities including the National Convention Hall of Yokohama, the Conference Center, the Exhibition Hall and the hotel (Inter Continental YOKOHAMA GRAND) have expanded the possibilities for conventions. Travel Information

Getting to Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan

The IB Global Conference, Yokohama, 2017 will take place at Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. Participants may arrive at the following airports:

Upon arriving at the airport, you can take a taxi (see below) or limousine bus to arrive at Yokohama. Airport limousine bus services are available at both airports. Getting to Conference Venue - PACIFICO Yokohama

PACIFICO Yokohama is of walking distance from hotels in the proximity. The IB appointed travel agency, Kinki Nippon Tourist Co., Ltd. Visa Requirements

Visitors to Japan are generally allowed entry as long as they have a valid passport that remains valid during the period of stay.

Visa exemptions can be made for citizens from 66 countries provided that their stay are within 90 days and that they do not engage in activities where they earn compensation.

Nationals of countries that do not have "Reciprocal Visa Exemption Arrangements" with Japan must obtain a visa.

Visitors should check the return bus schedule to the respective airports and make the necessary arrangements before the day of departure

Credit cards are commonly accepted however it is advisable for visitors to carry some cash for payments like train fares, bus fares and other small purchases.
