The International Baccalaureate® (IB) Americas supports over 2,400 IB World Schools in more than 30 countries across North, Central and South America.
It is one of three regional offices within the IB, based in the IB’s Global Centre in Bethesda, Maryland, US.
Through the regional office, the IB supports schools who wish to become authorized to deliver our programmes of education. The regional office also evaluates existing IB World Schools and provides professional development, such as events and workshops, in addition to other services.
In the Americas, the Global Centre serves a broad and diverse range of students in public, private, independent and international school settings.
Professional development workshops
Through our events and workshops, educators can share best practice and network with colleagues across the region. The IB provides face-to-face and online workshops, webinars, blended learning and e-learning resources.
Find a workshop in the Americas. Our professional development is suitable for educators with a range of needs and expertise.
Once per year IB Americas brings together educational professionals, from across the region, at the Conference of the Americas.
