Call for papers
The IB Global Conference, Singapore 2018 will take place from 25 to 27 March at Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre. We invite registered conference participants to submit papers, on the theme 'Shaping the Future', to present at the conference.
At the conference, there will be over 80 breakout sessions offered during the three days. Sessions may include presentations of conceptual models, professional applications, scholarly analyses, skill-building programs, and case studies.
Registration for conference paper submission will close on 17 November 2017. We will respond to all applicants on or before 12 January 2018.
Your presentation will be reviewed by the IB conference committee. The committee will review all presentation submissions using a set of criteria, which includes the relevance to the theme of the conference. Other important criteria include utilising a variety of presentation modes to engage with the audience.
As part of the review, the committee will also consider the relevance of the proposal to the theme as well as to one of the conference's strands listed below.
Presentations should not have any commercial purpose.
We are accepting proposals covering a wide range of education-related topics:
- International Mindedness – developing engaged citizens of the world
- Innovation – educators leading the way in international education
- Impact – on the communities around us
- Service – embedding impactful learning and teaching in schools
- Community – professionals working together for a stronger IB
Please note: If you and/or your co-presenter(s) are not registered conference participants, please proceed to register before completing the proposal. Selected Main Presenter will receive a 40% discount on early bird registration fee automatically. Co-presenter(s) are required to pay the full early bird conference registration fee.
